Was your car scraping the ground the whole track?
I don't know if was just speed effects but it looked like there was a constant flow of sparks coming from under your car.
It hasn't. You just press X and turn left or right. At least in NFSU2 you had to use at least some resemblance to proper drifting technique.Nice. Its good to see the crappy drifting form NFSU2 has improved.

exactly, no need to countersteer at all in Carbon, the car does it itself![]()

Yeah i know, lame. But i had it so i figured why not post it. I wasn't trying to make it seem like its just bad a$$, was just bored. My GT3 drifting is much better, its in my sig.
Ridge Racer does that and no one seems to have a problem with it... NFS is an ARCADE game. For little 5--15 year old kids who don't know **** about driving.
The video is very nice, nice drifting in GT3 too. Don't like the drift physics in GT4?
Thanks, and i hate the new physics engine they used. I don't even like the game for grip racing. Forza kicks it's 🤬 in grip racing. And it almost brings a tear to my eye to say that about ol' faithful GT. I've been a big fan since number one.
Actually if you have ever played TOCA 3 then you could say, oh SH!* that bump just spun me into the grass. Its a pretty challenging game as far as realism goes.
Need for speed hasn't improved their physics engine much since NFS 1 really... ok it's a little better and new modes like drift and drag e.t.c.
BUT!
the GT Evolution when it comes to Physics is amazing!
GT1 - Wow, a realistic racing game with tunable cars!
GT2 - Wow, a realistic game with 700 tunable cars!
GT3 - Wooohooo the high graphic cars can go sideways!
GT4 - Omg that bump just spun me out in the grass!
GT5 - Won't even think about it...
You're not serious are you? If that was true nobody would be able to drive on "The Ring".
I mean big bumps like curves and stuff, not regular road bumps.
