While it may not mean much to most here, it most certainly does mean a lot to me.

Yes, I beat Cargo in the Mazda RX7 at the Special Stage Route 5 race.

Cargo... 1:28.847 ......wheel

Dalone.. 1:28.807 ......DS3 buttons.

Many will know how long our rivalry has been going on, and not just on the track, here too, but I feel confident in saying that throughout it all we have pretty much remained friends, as well as adversaries.

Cargo will take this news in good style I'm sure without even a murmur of 'yes, but' to be seen.

Yes, I agree with you all about the thread but at the time I just couldn't help myself.

I'm sure many here understand how important it was for me achieving that feat and copping some rain on my parade is fine, albeit expected.

I can assure you it will never happen again and if this thread is pulled, that's OK too.

Bragging is ok , we all do when we get good times , but your personal battle with Cargo is just a tad unhealthy

Ha ha, not surprised at all that you had another crack at it Cargo, especially after seeing I had beaten you. I stopped playing a while ago so haven't seen your new time so congratulations on your success.

However I never posted false or misleading information as I did beat you and that is what this is all about as I seem to recall someone once saying I could never do that.

Just started the game to see your time, 1:28.555, over 2 tenths better than me. Well done, think I should have played a bit longer ha ha.

Anyway, there'll be plenty of 'next times' to look forward to. And it looks like I spur you on just as much as you spur me on, that's gotta be a good thing.

Incidentally, just out of curiosity were you using the same tune as before, the one you posted?

Yea, I just happened to see this thread while I was taking a break from the Academy TT. I thought the thread to be pretty assuming, especially considering the event hadn't even ended yet. So, I said to myself, "Self, you can't let him off the hook so easily, you got to go out there and teach the old boy a lesson." Myself agreed and off we went. After about 10 minutes of getting used to the car after driving the Prius all day, not an easy task mind you , I had your time beaten. I kept going for a while longer since I was getting in the groove and there were times I was up up my ghost by at least a good half second, so it could have been much worse for you. As for the tune, yes, it was the same tune I used when I set the car up.

Anyways, it is what it is and your quest continues. Sorry about things getting a little heated a few days ago, I'm just a pretty intense person and can go overboard sometimes, my apologies. Good that we can remain friends through such intense battles. Good luck to you on your quest, I'm not going to make it easy for you, but you already knew that.
