Thanks for the great pics Carlos. 👍
Thanks and no problem
Great shot's Carlos, I would love to go next year, I'll see what F1 race I'm going to before I decide, could you move about or did you have to stay at that spot
How much do you recon you would spend while you were there (ticket prices etc.)
Thanks! F1 race is cool too but I think a bit more expensive than 24h of Le Mans.. Not that it was cheap, at all.
The circuit access ticket was 80 euros
Pitlane grandstand 80 euros
Tribune at Dunlop corner was 70 euros
Tribune at Ford chicane was 80 euros
If you want to buy food and drinks at the circuit, you easily lose your money on that. A large beer was €8,50 (but go get a real cool cup with Le Mans cars on it, wich ofcourse you can take home). Food is ehm, strange.. They only have french baguettes with sausage and fries. Yes, fries IN the baguette. Ofcourse I ordered this (€9,50 AHUM AHUM)
Was it worth it........... No! Only the sausage was nice

I wanted to buy model cars too, hoped they would go for a soft price but the only detailed ones I saw were 200 + euros

They had other food too. Baguettes with different sausages... So keep in mind, bring your own food with you if you stay 24 hours.
There were alot of people who only had access to the circuit, they camped behind the fences all day but a good tribune is worth the money. The tribune at the Ford chicane is really really good, it's close to the circuit and you sit dry at all time. (That is where all the pics above were taken) Grandstand above the pits was meh, you couldn't see the car pitting (only the pit-lane). And I recommend a ticket in the Dunlop corner (just before or in the middle), then you can see the cars coming from the straight all the way into the Dunlop corner. I chilled for a couple of hours there just enjoying and seeing all the overtaking happening there. Pics from that corner are coming (probably) tomorrow.
Also a good thing to know, if you buy a ticket, you buy a seat. During the day it's better to stick with your own seat but after 2/3 hours you can sit where you want because alot of people only wanted to check the start or went to other tribunes. At first I was a little dissappointed with my seat at the Dunlop corner because I sat low and behind the fence but after 2 hours I had the best spot
I hoped this helped you 👍
