Cars are missing from Garage after new update 1.27 I have verified with several others on Facebook and it appears to have happened to several people.

Thought this happened to me but then remembered I sold them 
I think this is a legit issue.
I had a Mazda RX Vision GT3. When in the dealership it shows I have it, but I can't find it in the garage. It wasn't a rental (even though I was using Mazda during the summer gtws series). My best bet is that there is a bug that made it disappear along with the rental after that season was over. I triple checked it wasn't filtering. And I didn't sell it (I haven't sold a single car yet).

I had both. And no worries, I can tell the difference. The liveries don't mix between these the two versions, for starters.
The Stealth is in the garage as normal.
Unless the point you were making is that both the Stealth and the regular show that you have a gr.3 RX-Vision when at the dealer's.

Question regarding all of your experiences…
Within the garage, is the car missing from the “select new car” menu or “Car Collection/Car Index” or Both? Obviously the Index from the Car Collection Index shows additional information such as when the car was purchased or won.
Also, does it change if you try to access/or find the car for an event when it gives you the option to change car because it may not meet specific requirements (eg. will it display if you enter an event that gives you a list of which cars meet the regulations like Origin Country or Drivetrain) or is it solely when trying to access from the Garage section of home page?
Pics below for the 3 different scenarios; just curious if it appears when trying to access the car in different ways

Select car for an event - missing (and where I noticed it first in a gr.3 eligible event).
Only doubt in my mind right now is how the Stealth Version influences these entries. Do you happen to know if it has a separate entry in the index? Though, I do not believe it does.

Fwiw this definitely happened to me.. I had a gr4 GTR in fluro pink that i always used, it was my go to car because it was pink and outrageous.. Then one day, it was gone.. Ive never sold any cars, so i definitely didnt sell it..
Thankfully i was cashed up and they arent expensive so I just purchased anotger one, but it definitely happened to me..

Sorry man, the “Stealth Version” is the one aspect about this conversation I’m not familiar with. Is that something do me to an extra copy or some appearance modification in GT Auto?
I have no idea what the link (if any) there is between the cars people have noticed suddenly missing (or when it happened)… gift cars, listed as favorites, modded certain way, Group or not group cars… Maybe there’s a link with the players themselves and something they participated/completed. It sounds really strange and frustrating. Hopefully there is some common theme that can be identified & resolved.
I wasn’t sure if I was missing cars and not realized it yet. However, after you mentioned that “missing” cars are still visible in the index I was able to cross check that list with what was available in my garage. If thats the case It doesn’t look like anything disappeared for me

Cars appear in the Car Collection screen permanently once you have owned any example of them, regardless of whether you no longer own it.
The same goes for the blue book icon, which only tells you that it appears in the Car Collection screen - which is represented by the exact same book icon in your Garage. Own a car once, and it will be flagged with the blue book icon in the Used/Legends and Brand Central dealers.
The RX-Vision GT3 Stealth model qualifies as an RX-Vision GT3 for the purposes of the Car Collection screen so, yes, if you have owned or do own it then the entry for the RX-Vision GT3 will be filled in whether you have a regular version of the car or not.

Anyway, it's no biggie, really. Just a bit scary to think it might happen, but it is just a game, after all
I lost a series of liveries once due to a bug... That was much more frustrating as it required something that resembled actual work to redo ;P

Something similar....I thought I had bought and sold the Prius but it's picture in the extra menu was blanked out. After the update I went to the dealership and it showed the blue arrow indicating I'd already bought it. I bought it again and it completed the extra menu. Glad it wasn't one.of the expen$ive legend cars!
