cars in arcade mode

Hi Everyone.

It has been a while since I played GT 4.
The reason... I was at about 80% when de data was corrupted and I just had enough of it, could not begin again...
Thanks to a friend I have been reintroduced to the game. He offered me his savegame so I could enjoy a bit of numb racing. Just for fun, who knows maybe I will be at it again soon.
But the problem is that there is a huge number of cars in the turismo mode but in the arcade mode the normal number of 200 something.
Any ideas if this is normal. Shouldn't the unlocked cars also be available in arcade mode? I really want to race the C9 in arcade mode with a friend in some other hardware around the Green Hell......Hope you can help.....

It sounds like he has used the trade function, or some sort of gameshark cheat to acquire cars. If that is the case, then they will not be available in arcade mode.

Cars are only available in arcade mode if they have been won or bought.

is there a way for me to change that?
by selling and buying back cars, I know you can't buy them all.... but can that change something about it....

If I remember correctly, when you use the "have all cars" cheat, getting into a car in GT mode will unlock it for Arcade mode. You might just have to go through every single car in your garage.
