CART has once again wiped out over half the field (if you would even call it a field) with a US 500 repeat at Surfers Paradise. The name CART has given tiself does not seem to make a correct image of there circus like race series. After that great display of driver skill (Dominguez especially) they let the teams bring out there back up cars in order to "put on a race" of which lasted less than 20 laps before the drivers began complaining of there cars hydroplaining along the suface of the track (surprising with the downforce those cars have) when it began downporing around lap 20. They then decided to run the rest of the shortened race under caution where the comentators made some fairly amusing coments and interviews about the race. In how they did not want to restart the race for it mite cause a repeat of the beginning. I am sure the Austrailians are very dissapointed. This mite once agian ruin CART in a country where there is a descent number of fans.
