Yeah it is definitely a shame they didn't put more of these racing modded cars in the game, they are a joy to drive.

With all the additions (from patches) since the release of GT5 I'm optimistic more RM cars will come, eventually.

Can someone tell me how to change the color of the racing mod? All I ever get is black and white...

After race modding, the car will be clad in the usual black and white livery; however, it can be painted at GT Auto after modding it, like any other car.

You can only 'swap' the white of the livery for another color, though.
In addition, if you do paint the car in a dark colour, the black decals will usually be replaced by white ones.
