I think this one has the most cars or the series. 600 or so.. I'm not totally sure though.

less than 600, i believe.
the box says over 500, and they tend not to leave out an entire 100 cars in their advertising.

there are so many cars in this game, with so many different models of each. God, i don't think I can count that high.....

there are over six hundred that is if you include the diferent models, other wise there are only like 500

there are 584 differents cars, including all models, special cars, hidden cars, prize cars, etc.

I have a list of all of them and I counted them and made sure they exist they exist and there is 600 the only reason they say over 500 is because the hidden cars are not supposed to be accessable so that lowers the amount of cars you can have greatly.
