Hey ya'll, just beat F1 and feel like a rich man, so decided to tune myself a fun little car called the Caterham Fireblade. Interesting little sucker it is.. Just have a few issues with the suspension(?) tuning that I need some help with. For a track like the Ring, it just bounces too uncontrollably, and usually I fix that with some downforce and a few softening suspension tweaks, but seeing as how you can't put a spoiler on the thing, Im stuck with suspension only. No matter how much I loosen up either the shocks, springs, or raise the car, it still bounces about the same. Now Im thinking, is this a weight thing? Yeah, the car seems to be the lightest car in the game, great, but is it possible for it to be TOO light for a high speed bumpy track like the Ring? I tried puttin some weight on with the ballast but it still doesn't seem to make a difference. Any input guys? Thanks.

Hello, you might want to try out this setup. It's not specifically tuned for the 'ring but usually this guy knows how to set up cars pretty good.

Caterham Fireblades are bouncy by nature anyway. If you ever get the chance to play TOCA you ill be able to race in the Caterham series and I tell you it took me quite a bit to find the perfect setting to run that car on Brandshatch Speedway. Its a pretty uneven and bouncy track which brings ot the worst in these otherwise fun cars to drive! It wouldn,t do any good to relay the settings to you as TOCA settings are different from GT's. Ivcan say not to stiff andnot to loose...just gotta findthat sweetspot.
