I'm curious if ya can use it in all the regular races in a-spec? I seem to remember in an old version of GT (PS2) you could test drive it but not enter races.

Yeah you can tune it up, I can't give you the specifics as I am at work. It is super light in the 300kg range.

And yeah you can get a power to weight ratio of 1.4kg/BHP

I am just unsure on how to setup the suspension and LSD etc...

My caterham has massive oversteer. I opted for the supercharger instead of the stage 3 turbo so it's like 240HP or something like that. I didn't purchase the custom trans or suspension yet on it though. But it makes some sweet donuts!

The Fireblade is a fun little runabout. I like it for those "lightweight" races. It out corners just about everything, but in larger car races they kill you on the streights. You can put the mid or high rpm turbo on it or the supercharger. It has a high rpm limit, but seems to not sit at high rpm very often, at least for the races I use it it. It's always turning. So, I havn't put either of them in yet. Messing around with the gears and boosting the HP would help it out for the streights.

Yes, it's wasteful to spend so much money on it, but I waste lots of money on silly stuff for these cars. It's a game, after all. I like to be silly in them.

Agreed the little runabouts seem to be soo much more fun XD

And my 50K lotus elise with all the trimmings can compete easily with 400K supercars. I completed the GT world cup with it!!

I have my caterham done out all the way and it is a little monster, bought it for 60k at used dealer and yes you can race with it in a and b spec. It has the supercharger and 242 hp, as the turbo only gives 208 or so. 1st gear almost 120 km/hr and 2nd 180. 4 more after that.

no it doesnt, base BHP the super charger gives more (i have bought both induction kits).

what i would like to test though is will it give more top end speed as it takes so long to spool...
