 Yea, Probably smart move jumping ship...

OP: First, what tyres are you using? Second, have you tried everything, ballast, powerlimiter, supercharger vs Turbo etc? Third, have you checked the public drift tuning depot? Have you exhausted all your options before coming here and asking advice? I would seriously recommend trying everything you can do first and then going to a tuner in the tuning forum for help as I dont recall anyone here drifting a caterham 7 but the tuning forum, if asked nicely, should be able to give you point in the right direction in terms of tuning..

And even if someone here did drift this and has good knowledge on how to tune it, a little more in the way of what the main problem is in a little bit of detail would be a great help, like is it drifting, is it not drifting, is it snapping back, is it straightening out. We cant just give you a fix without knowing whats needing to be fixed...

Keep it stock, slap some SH tires on it and it will slide like butter.

Yep, this advice, 100% recommended [/Sarcasm]

With something as small and light as that, SH would be the worst option, too much grip..

I just tried them and theyre so bad... going to stick with SH for now :) 👍

Wow.... ok stay in the minor leagues with grip tires... 👎

Just so you know CM is the equivalent of a newly unused radial like the ones they use in professional drifting.

The caterham is a rubbish car in general. I've tried using it a couple times and it's the only car I really dislike drifting. Much better to drift something else

CH Foxtrot Tango Whiskey!!! The only time I EVER drift on anything more is in my 1000hp ACR around Daytona, in which case I still use CH on the front but bump up to CM on the rear.

well the first thing about this "car" is its a motorcycle engine in a car frame so the way the engine's gonna respond is different .. i dont know bout everyone else but i run a short ratio which will ussually mean you'll end up in a high gear nearing your entry, keeping that in mind to me it feels like there's no engine brake..its like the tranny still pushes when you let off the throttle , so when your in 4th or 5th gear the tires are spinning obviously fast and when u let off your expecting it to stop pulling but theres still some pull there .. so i belive i shortened the individual ratio's and did some trial and error type tuning until the gears were seemless between shifts so when shifting down the tires remained spinning ..hope that helps ..and sorry if im repeating somthing someone else said ..i skimmed through most of it and didnt see anything in this realm
oh ya and i use comfort hard!!

Why would you have your gearing high.... just curious... but i believe it doesnt help your max ft/lb of torque just you launch speed,
