Simple, it was my theme so I choose the pictures I liked best. The maxium photo's I allow in the poll is 10. If yours was not one of my favourite shots then it didn't make it. As I said, simple

Well, I always think my shots are the best on almost every comp, same as many people around here, and that's a good sign, means you're happy with what you've done.

But... tastes differ from person to person, and what some find great some don't like.
And since there's always a member picking a top 10, everyone's depending on what he likes best on that week.

Besides, I can tell you straight off some of the reasons why your shot wasn't picked for the poll.
Rims are standing still, no depth of field, dull background, not the best light on the shot, standard angle.
