The poll doesn't look that '2.0' to me...

Most of the shots are basic PMC, doesn't 2.0 mean anything these days?...

And to the guys posting full sized 1280x960 (or near) shots:
Resize them a bit. It improves quality and makes it A LOT easier to evaluate the shot.

I personally hate to scroll along the shot, up and down, left and right, to see it all, and not being able to see it all within my screen with max quality, because my browser allows for resizing but quality goes away big time.

not everybody has access to photoshop, nor does everyone enjoy blurring/smudging/motion blurring every pixel to perfection. and some people are just lazy :P

Correct my friend! 👍 ;)

I wasn't talking about spending hours working on a shot everytime you edit.

That's not all there is about 2.0, you know?

With just 10mins of work on photoshop you can have a great FULL 2.0 shot that doesn't look like a PMC shot at all.

And the reason I mentioned it in the 1st place is because like I said many shots on the poll are PMC shots (there's even an unedited shot on the poll).
Sometimes a simple gradient map and a layer blend suffice to make a very decent 2.0 shot, and also like I said already on this very post, even using more 2.0-allowed tools/filters, you can totally change a shot with only a few mins work.

okay, then, what could i have done better to make it fit the 2.0 rules better? keep in mind gimps blur/smudge tool sucks and image ready doesnt have color balance, lens blur, blur/smudge tools and burn/dodge tools. it does blur filters though, hue/saturation (just master though) and levels. most layer options as well afaik.

mines black convertible.

i think we should do a V1.5 that'll be in between the pmc and the 2.0 bracket
though i totally agree with beerz. i've done fairly decent entries with gimp before. i think anyone could be capable of doing a 2.0 version shot without taking too much time or needing too much tools. no offense, but most of the entries do look very under editted for this bracket. hope to see better ones next time..

ps: just wanted to say that gimp's channel mixer can actually be used as a weapon against photoshop. i proved that back in season 1 of the photomode tournament when i went against bram. sure i lost the battle,
but i was using gimp the whole time and it got me thru to the semi finals.
