CD Rippers?

Anybody know of any good CD rippers? I have CD-DA X-tractor which works good but is slow as a fat lady running a marathon? I looked into Windows Media Player but you have to download/buy a plug-in...

A little help? And I hope this is in the right forum, I figured it had more to do with music than anything. Just tell me and I'll move it, though. :)

Probably more computer related, I'll shove it on over there for you.

I use dBPowerAMP for converting to/from MP3. You have to remember that the compression side will take longer, becuase the compressor has to look at the data to find the best key, and then actually do the compression. Decompression is much faster.

Easy CD Ripper is a simple and easy to use program - thats why I use it for decoding and encoding mp3 formatted files.

dBpowerAMP. It has been proven to be the fastest CD ripper available. It's totally free and you can connect to the freeDB database to automatically find titles for your songs. You can download a shareware Power Pack to rip even faster! To top it all off, you can download other codecs which allow you to rip to more than just .mp3 and .wav.
