Hey guys,

Was drag racign last night down the Top Gear track and i kept losing to the Dodge Vipers by 1/10th of a car's length. Is there anyone that has a setup for drags with this car or any advice?

I have searched on the forums but I cannot find anything/anyone that is willing to share a setup and a few which comment saying 'i dont get wheel spin, but its my secret', presume he takes off in 6th gear, i dont know.

So anyone with pointers or a setup I would be greatly appreciate! :)

At that distance the speed 12 will almost lose every-time, to much wheel spin on the speed 12.

I have never tuned that car for TGTT however, you might want to do a 2nd or 3rd gear launch, and maybe add weight to the back wheels.. Its going to be tough to beat vipers but its worth a try...

Lol I don't even own a Cerbera Speed 12, but I advise you to put a lot of ballast on the rear wheels, say at about 200 kg, and place it at 50. Make sure that your aerodynamic settings are at the lowest, if you installed a wing. I suggest you install a wing since the car is VERY powerful and can roast the tires till 5th gear. I can maybe help you create a tune, but like I said before, I don't have a Cerbera Speed 12:grumpy:

In the tunnel it stops spinning just as you change to 3rd and powers on to about 245mph out the tunnel, with no ballast because it slows you down to much.

There are only a handful of cars that are faster with ballast, Speed 12 being one of them, but that's for 1/4, for TTGT that extra weight might be catching up with it...

my cerbera speed 12 loses by at least 2 cars to my acr (on the quarter) but its one of the better ones ive seen.

trans max (converted approximates from kmh) top right 195mph
make 1 and 2 long, 3 medium-long 4 5 6 shortish.
launch in 3 just after you move switch to 4 and follow through. i get roughly 167mph at the shadow in quarter mile. i have no spoiler or ballast, full power and tune.

spins like a b---h :/

Buy a wing! High rear downforce, therefore front high, rear lower (find it out by how much). Start in 2nd gear (or 3rd), at least we tunnel guys start always in second.

If someone says that he doesn't get wheelspin, then he's talking BS or simply can't do proper drag tunes. Wheelspin is your friend!
