So I know it’s been discussed in the past, but after patches and updates the old methods don’t work anymore. Is there anyone that actually got first recently in this endurance challenge? I tried already 3 times with different methods, never went out of tracks, and still got second with a 8 seconds difference. Any suggestion please? :(

I saw your post and I just tried it now and won easy, but I just did not try to hard on this race or even once I got in 1st place.

I started the race with Racing Soft Tires and the fuel lean map on 1, then I made a pitstop on lap 13 , on that pitstop I change to Racing Medium and a full fuel tank, and fuel lean map on 1.
Then on lap 25 pitstop I went to Racing Medium again with 5 laps of fuel or any other tires will do. I ended up winning by around 37 seconds 🙂.

Thank you so much! I’ll try your strat and let you know! I hope it will work, I don’t think I’m too bad at driving, those 2 times I tried I never went out of tracks or something like that but still lost. One thing: so you stayed the whole race with fuel consumption on 1 right?

Yes Fuel Map on 1 all the time.

Just made it with soft tires and a 40 seconds difference! It was definitely the tires, thank you! Could you explain why the tires make such a huge difference? Isn’t it only more adherence?
What do you suggest me to use in the final endurance of stage 8? Soft again?
Tires make a huge difference in endurance races, where there is tire wear, you can test the tire wear yourself to understand the strange physics.

With the final endurance of stage 8 and I have not done that race for a few years, and back then you could use a number of cars to do that race and win. I use the VW Beetle back then but it was easy with that car, but I don't know what is it like now my friend.

Are you nearly up to the last endurance race of stage 8 ?.

Mate, tyres are everything, they're more than horsepower or downforce.

This is the car I used for the final endurance stage 8 a few years ago, and I have not use it since.

Racing Soft tires all the time and pitted every lap for fuel & tires, fuel map on 1 all the time. With the Volkswagen Beetle with the strategy I use, you can do it on a 2 stop pitstop if you use this car but you can use any Gr.3 car.

Yep, there are 2/3 different endurances in Stage 8 and I used in all of them the soft tires and won first try!
Thank you again! :)

No problem my friend  Racing Medium and Racing Soft are the way to go on most of these endurance races.
