Change a file type

How can i change a TIF file to a jpg or jpeg?

my scanner automaticlly(spelling?) puts all the pics i scan to a TIF .
how can i change that so i can post them here on this site?

What kind of a scanner do you have?

I recall being able to change what I want my scanned images to be saved as somewhere in my scanner preferences/options.

Try looking around, your bound to find something...

i have a Hewlett-packard HP1210v all in one scanner copier and printer. I know its not the best but for what i do its ok.

and we do have a editing program

Arcsoft Photo Impression 4

i think thats it ,maybe we have another i'll have to look and see

I have that all in one too. Mine's the colour white. Which one is yours?

There should be an option in your editing program too to save as different file types.
