Change date and time

I have updated the time and date in xmb (I presume this is where GT5:P gets its settings), but in game on my page the calendar is showing the 4th of April, when it is the 18th! any ideas why? It's fairly annoying, and clearing the data cache hasn't helped...

It has been mentioned before: the 4 means the 4th month of the year (i.e. April), not the day, that is in the calender picture below. A bit silly it is though.

oh dear, how embarrasing... thanks guys for the clear up, now for some sleep to change that pesky msimatch 00000...?11 error online tomorrow...

The 4 means April, there is a little white line beneath the day ;)

(more people are confused)

My calendar shows the white line under the 18th for today.

If this is true, why does the reminder show up every time I start the game?
And why show the # of the month and the name. Redundancy, I doubt it.

All I know is its pissing me off.

I have spent more time on IT crap then racing. If I wanted that I'd go back to school.

Anyway, back to gt4 so I can relax.

I have the same problem and I set my time on the xmb and the time in the game is still not right - I understand the part that 4 is for april but I don't understand why after I set my time right on my xmb the time in the game is still wrong ???

Do you have your PS3 set up to auto adjust date and time from the Internet or are you doing it manually?

I believe it needs to be setup to auto adjust.

I had the message about the wrong time. Checking the PS3 time and date it looked good, but GT5P time was 1 hour behind. I went into the PS3 settings and changed the daylight savings time and then auto set the time and GT5P no longer gave me the message.

Thanks everyone for the information about the time/date situation.

I live in the eastern US.
The daylight savings is on the standard setting the menu says 9:12, but the game says 8:12.
When it is set to daylight savings the game says 10:12.????

Its fixed now.I have found the solution.

What I had to do was let the time be set via internet, then set it to daylight savings and it works fine now.

Hope this helps others.

Maybe someday the manuals will describe all that needs to be explained, not just which button is for what, and who made the game (credits).

I found this also very annoying. It tells you that the time is not right, so obviously it got the right time from somewhere (else how could it know the time is wrong?), why not just use that time? And why should it matter if my PS3 is set to a different time, what if I WANT it that way?

you just have to select "Summer Time" ! (horaire d'été) :)

go to the XMB and select "online update" instead of "manual" plus "Summer Time" and voilà.
Yeah, exactly, that's the problem. I was reading this thread too to give a bit of help because I'd this problem and I found that this would be the solution. What I did was just: check my clock region, then later I didn't an internet clock update, and then I saw it switched to one hour more, so I realized I should change the summer time mode, and then GT5P saw the hour was right finally !
