didnt see another thread like this (not that i looked much at all) so i figured i'd start it.
oil change on new cars have the same effect as gt5. i bought a shelby gt500 which has 661 in the dealership and the oil change gave it 694.
you no longer have to buy stages 1 and 2 for weight reduction and engine, nor do you benifit from buying them.
careful, cars WILL flip. not fun on the last corner with 2nd place a half second behind you.
if you have the 15th anniversary edition, the cars are added to your garage, you dont have to buy them.
the race payouts seem to be proportionate to the cars used in the races. i'm currently on ib and the races pay well enough to buy competitive cars. albeit not necessarily the intended cars.
dont count on using an x2011 through out the game, there are tire and PP restrictions in pretty much every race.
