Well, i saved up for the Chaperral 2D race car after buying its brother. The 2J. I liked the 2J very much and entered lots of endurance races and did not lose one. Now when I brought the Chaperral 2D I tested it on the test track and was dissapointed because untill it hit 3000rpm it did not pick up much speed. the 0-60 time was about 6secs! After racing it I thought that this problem may be because I had not installed any performance upgrades, so I went back to America to tickle it. I installed the 2 things that could be modified on it... Stage 5 turbo(I think) and a body 'stiffener'. I went back on to the test track and the cars performance under 3000rpm was still really bad, however I was happy that it got to 200 mph a lot quiker. This is a problem because when I go round a tight bend I usually drop below 3000rpm, which means it takes a long time to get back up to speed, wasting valuble time.

In conclusion what I am trying to say is, does anyone have a sulution to this problem. I am not that great at the technical side of the cars. I understand how everything works, but I am crap at working out gear ratios which I think is the problem. Could anyone give me some gear ratios that will help my 1.1million credit car have a faster 0-60 time than 6secs. 👎

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks to you all.
