I've not added it to a car in GT6. But if it works the same was as it did on GT5, you need to go into the tuning garage to access it. In other words, you cannot get to it by simply going into the settings screen for the car. You can add things like custom transmission, exhaust, suspension, ECU chip in that way. But to do weight reductions, engine stage upgrades, and chassis reinforcement, you need to be in the tuning garage.
BTW - It's typically under the "Chassis" settings that allow you to reduce the weight, add carbon hood, etc.

I've looked there it doesn't exist
in GT 5 chassis reinforcement was an option along with weight reduction options window,hood and body gt 6 there is no option this time. Alot of new cars come with a strut tower brace from the factory and when building replicas I try to make them as close as I can. thanks for your reply
