Where can I get nice but cost efficient racing seats to play with GT4?

The lowest price I've seen is the Hunsaker Hauss seat on Ebay for $200. But that is still too pricey since shipping will be an additional $60.

check out an apc catalogue or something. theres also seats that look like racing seats, but on the side say "not suited for racing". im sure those are cheap too.

Could always get one of these and just race people :D

I don't think those would be soft enough, since they're for actual racing. Too much money to pay when you're not going to reap the benefits of why they were built. Go for something more comfortable and cheaper. I made a whole racing cockpit for $150, including the padded seat. Kicks ass!

No, this is a German design called gamechopper.

I added the seat to make it more comfortable.

Just finished playing TOCA2 on the Xbox for the last 4 hours. Damn, this felt great. No sore back. Cannot wait for GT4.

:D

Keep it cheap, go to ikea ................indeed
just have a look on the internet......................and fill in " cheap racing chairs" ...........or something

I am pretty sure it can hold +200lbs. I weigh 170 and stability is no problem, I don't even come close to even budging this thing while driving it. Let me tell you the metal frame is very solid and heavy. I had the same concern when I bought it off of ebay.

I believe this frame retails for $300 but you can only get it in Germany (I didn't pay that much). I bought the Corbeau Seat which was an additonal $220 by itself. I paid about $400 for the whole thing.

If you guys are looking for a similar setup...Check out this racing frame. In my opinion this is the best valued racing rig you can buy.

The seat is the Corbeau Clubman which alone retails for $212 on any racing website. And the whole frame+seat will retail for $240.

This unit has been available in Europe for some time but will be distributed out of the US probably right after E3 which is a month from now.

Here are pics of the playseats...

If you are referring to the latest Logitech wheel with 900 degree rotation capability, designed for GT4, then here it is:

I have one and find it quite nice:D

The cost of complete cockpit with all this accesories are aprox. 240 000 yens. I don't know how many dollars are.
If any one knows please post it.

Bocha,

I guess that´s a PC setup, right? Obviously, it is using the new Driving Force Pro Wheel, with a real Momo race wheel instead of the plastic one. Really amazing!

Qué tal el clima en Villa Gesell??

Thanks RedOak

Todo bien Martinmaxx? Pense que era el unico Argentino por aca. Esta bueno el cockpit no?
Saludos

Hola Bocha!

Thanks for your reply. I think it will be better for us to type in english. This way, nobody will complain.

Where did you find this cockpit. Do you have the web page address for the seller?

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

P/S : I live in Buenos Aires, but also have a house in Cariló, so we live very close!!
