Integrated ATSC and Digital Cable Tuner (QAM Unscrambled) with 1080i Resolution Capability
A fully integrated ATSC tuner with the ability to receive off-air high definition broadcasts (up to 1080i resolution) without the need for an external set-top box. A digital cable tuner (QAM) allows for the reception of digital cable signals that are not scrambled.

DVI with HDCP
The Digital Visual Interface (DVI) provides an uncompressed transfer of high definition video from a digital video source to a digital display device. HDCP (High Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) ensures copy protection of the content.

Advanced 8-VSB Chipset Technology
Offers better indoor reception of over-the-air DTV broadcasts and makes reception of broadcasted data possible.

32" Flat, High Definition, Fine Pitch Picture Tube
Offers the highest resolution capability possible for viewing of HD content. Fine pitch picture tube with Invar mask provides the sharpest and clearest picture possible.

3:2 Pull Down Cinema Correction
Video processing that compensates for the different frame rates in film as opposed to video.
2 Tuner Picture-in-Picture (PIP) with Split Screen
Two tuners allow you to view two channels at the same time, without the need for an extra external tuning source such as a VCR. Split screen (unlike PIP which has a smaller inset) shows two channels of equal size, side-by-side.

3D Y/C Comb Filter
Combines the adaptive digital processing of a 3 line digital comb filter with 3D motion detection. Eliminates hanging dots and color noise on stationary images. Reduces “dot crawl” and overall picture noise.

Advanced Scan Velocity Modulation (Off/Low/High)
Varies the speed of the electron beam with video transitions to increase apparent sharpness of the edges.

My HDTV set has a lot of those features, plus I have more. But, I don't have DVI or HDCP. Mine is about three years old.

I'm curious; who makes it? And why whould they make it in 4:3 aspect ratio, and not 16:9? Stupid.

It looks like a Zenith.

You bought that for your sister?! I wouldn't even buy that crappy Hello Kitty TV for my sister.

It looks and sounds like a Zenith C32v37.
Great bang for the buck (around $900us).
Just hope they're reliable.
I'm considering the C34w37 (around $1500us?).
Or a Sony 34XBR910 (around $2000us).
The onboard tuners are nice to have, but the Sony's resolution is tops.
