Check Out This Car!

Check out this car! It's only 16,000 dollars! well for the body....you still need a 90-95 accord for some donor parts but STILL! look at it it's awsome! It also has enough engine room for a longblock V8!....I'm thinking RB26DETT tho ;) The whole suspension trajectory is only 4cm (1,57"). It is tough & sporty suspension, made and designed especially for this vehicle only, by a company, who makes the racing suspension for Audi Racing Team. they also make a hard and soft top for it!

That's pretty cool, in a Speedsterish sort of way. All in all, though, I'd rather have a Factory Five Cobra knockoff.

It might use accord brakes in back, not sure what they would do with the front though.

It would probably be pretty easy to use a Prelude engine instead of the Accord one in there, you could get a bit more power then.

So all your really doing is paying for a really big body kit?

Hmm... whats that like 140 hp (thats probably really off, I just made it up off the top of my head) in body that looks like it should put out maybe 400ish? Add on a big wing, and you've got yourself one hell of a ricerocket. I'd rather save up for a Wrx or something ;)

Mind you, it probably weighs about 600kg!

4cm of suspension travel, eh? The drive to work would have one of those pretty wheels ripped out of the wheel well pretty promptly, methinks. Still, for that money it'd make a nice track car.

Only if it weighs a lot. If it doesn't, and has performence to match the looks, then no. But I'd put some bigger brakes in first.

EDIT As the wheels are aftermarket you wouldn't actually have to have those horrid ones on the red car. The yellow car's wheels are a lot better.

According to the Attack website it weighs about 850kg (1870lbs). So no, it isn't a rice car as long as it doesn't have the red car's wheels

Thia was heavly mentioned in a thread before. I think it was the rumple club. But if your gonna build the car, why put a POS 4-cylender in it? Like someone said why not alsay but a long block v8 and soup it up? Then that be a cool car to have. And make it as loud as legally possible.
Also there is a verion that comes with a roof if your wondering what to do if rain comes.

As I said it was designed with the accord in it but a V8 or pretty much any other engine will fit. The front brakes are ones off the audi TT...and you asume that just becasue the car looks nice its ricer...whatever....

think about it a blown V8 on a tube frame chassis pushing 400 or more horses with a racing suspension. that thing could be one mean machine....even though it's build for a honda engine the company does offer a V8 for it that does push 400 horses. Your right about the sound tho. I'd love for it to make one mean ass rumble!

Well, I think it is nice. If the car is light, a little power goes a long way, especially if its rear wheel drive. Cheaper than an elise too (though I like the elise alot, which has a 4 cylinder). I'd take mine with a V8 :), or a good V6 if the engine is right...
