To my surprise, I did not see any recent threads about this game, the last one being from 2011, so I decided I'd make a new one.
A lot is going on in the world of chess right now with the candidates tournament to decide who will face the world champion, Magnus Carlsen. I think Aronian will end up winning the candidates tournament, but I don't think he'll be able to dethrone Carlsen.
I'm relatively new to chess, only been playing for a few months, but I'm in love. I'm pretty bad at it (as most people will say) but it's such a good game that I don't care.
Anyone else play? My ID is also Ettick on chess.com if anyone is interested in playing. I could also make a group on chess.com if enough people are interested.
