Can't get the slicks to bite - they just spin.

I'm trying to get my front wheels off the ground on a launch. I've done most of the upgrades... But I haven't done the roll cage - hmm... is that my problem? Or is the car too heavy? I heat up the tires, then dump the clutch at redline but I just get wheelspin. I don't really wan't to do a wheel stand, I just want to get the front wheels off the ground a little.

here's the settings I'm using

You can thank the Thursday the 13th update for the lack of traction with slicks. :banghead:

I just experiment with different launch RPM. My Dart has to launch at 2800-3000 or it will just spin.

My question is , Why do you have less air in the fron t than the rear?
Your rear tires should be less on RD car.

Hmm... I guess you have to buy the drag pack to get the dodge dart. They are available for sale on the auction. However I don't have gold. I'll wait until I can find a 48 hour trial code. Unless someone would be kind enough to pm me one. :D As cheap as I am I'd spend money to get some sort of legitimate drag update with better slicks.

I looked at some of the wheelie setups you can buy and I think they swapped the engine with something newer to get it lighter up front. I might try it on some of the other muscle cars.

Like some guys above me posted: drop pressure in the rear tires and lower your launch rpm.

If that fails then pick up a vehicle with a lower front end weight ratio.
