As I said before on the botched post, this car has legacy. Last I heard (about 2010-11), Chevrolet had won safest truck of the year SINCE 1981. 30 years. The 1981 received a "mid-life crisis" face lift which transpired by a rounder front end than the 1980 model. The were more curves in the body and a front end design that closely resembled the new body produced in 1980 that improved aerodynamics. The stacked headlights were also an option (and far better looking than the originals). This was also the only year for this body style to have the indicators in the bumper. Another feature of this body is that there's no radio antennae. It's in the windshield for a sleeker look. The 5.7l V8 motor even produced more torque than the diesel in 1981, being able to pull about 2,000 more pounds. The horsepower was also the most offered.

Again, I wouldn't mind seeing a dually version, either.
