If it wasn't for the sponsorship, dear ol' Jeff wouldn't be seen dead in this thing, to be honest...
 
Clicked on it thinking it was Jeff Gordon's #24 Stock Car. This is the complete opposite of what I was expecting.
 
The thing is just massively underpowered for a car that was supposed to be a NASCAR special edition. Pontiac even was putting a 3.8L V6 into the Grand Prix at the time and their engine had 40 more horsepower than this.

Too bad they didn't put the 5.3 liter V8 into the Monte Carlo until the short lived final gen.

...Wasn't that supercharged? This so called Gen II motor popped up in pretty much every mid-to-full size GM vehicles, if I remember correctly - from Buicks to Pontiacs and Chevys and whatnot.
