Continuing my crusade for Diesel engines, this time featuring the latest american Truck offerings.
Yes there are already threads for current-gen Silverados, but none of them specify the Diesel versions.
Why not the dually, you ask? Because Racetruck.
The redesigned Silverado and GMC Sierra on the GMT K2XX platform were introduced in 2013 for the 2014MY. It is now better than the previous model (nobrainer) and quite handsome for what it is.
The LML Duramax engine is exclusive to the 2500 and 3500 models, and develops 397bhp and 765lb-ft.
Facts:
6.6L DMAX Duramax LML V8, 397bhp, 765lb-ft
Allison 1000 6-speed automatic transmission, rear-wheel-drive or 4-wheel-drive
Curb weight: 6469-7448lbs (depending on Bodystyle and drivetrain)
Performance: I don't care, I roll coal
Pics:
Got some Crew Cab w/ Short Bed for ya
