I have checked the leaderboard of the World Championships for top lap times. And I was stunned that the best times were all driven with a Chevrolet Spark. And that is in Class F, Class E and Class D. Even in Class C are some Spark's!

What is so superior with that car? Is there some miracle tuning issue about the Spark?

PI "unbalance". Basically, a certain mix of upgrades makes it faster on 70% of the tracks than the game says it should be. It can be anything like "very low top speed but high everything else" (AKA what happened to the Dodge Dart pre-patch).

This.

I would call it a 🤬 car.

I don't mind at all that the game would let the car be 'competitive' in classes (after all that's what the pi system is all about!) but it seems ridiculous that this little eco-box rubbish is so good.

Yesterday was my first time racing online in E class. Half the racers choose the spark. They must have an amazing tune but still doesn't make up for poor (being polite) driving. People seem to have an ego when driving that car yesterday. I was getting pushed and slammed in every direction, once as I started to cross the start line to begin the first lap.
I've got my E class Fiero with a base tune that will break the top 500 so we'll see who laughs last.

Hmm.. when I race the F class circuit I see a wide variety of cars. First place is rarely - if ever the Chevy spark. Maybe I need to get some better tunes so I can make use of the PI imbalance you guys are talking about.

The Spark is the most dominant car in the game in the lower classes. Could it be the lobbies you're racing in don't allow leaderboard cars?
