I'm finding it hard to buy incandescent Christmas lights anywhere. All I can find is those bland LED lights. :yuck:

This has finally pushed me over the edge...

I'm signing up with Ayn Rand crew. :irked:

Lol, ok? Don't they sell LED lights in different colors or temperates of white? I share you hatred of the cool, bluey-white LEDs.

Still use vintage (maybe?) incandescent lights. The big ones...

But switching soon to LED lights, finally found some that look like the big tear drop lights, but are led. They cost much less to run through the season as well. Also found some nice small LED multicolor lights, they look just like normal ones, only brighter, same with the big tear drop LED lights.

Nothing but LEDs, really? I was super surprised at Wal Mart the other day when I saw them on the shelf. I've only seen one house using them so far, too. The old school incandescents are still for sale everywhere. Maybe you can cross the border and toss some real Christmas lights in the bag alongside your cheap prescriptions.

"Hey Atlas, do you know where I can buy incandescent Christmas lights?"
Atlas shrugged.

Nevertheless, it is quite normal to feel a bit Randy at Christmas time :D

Bulbs, be they incandescent or LED, are for girls. Real candles on trees are where it's at.

That's interesting. The shelves at Walmart (& Canadian Tire, which is where Canadians buy stuff like that) are filled with rows & rows of LEDS, but only a feeble collection of odds & ends of incandescents. That's what you get for being a socialist country. :grumpy:

There's a variety of colours now available, including "warm white". But they don't ... err ...

twinkle. :embarrassed:

Huh, around here the "bland" LEDs are quite bright and offer much more saturated and punchy blue, red, and green.
