I just saw this movie earlier tonight before being utterly dissapointed watching Match or the day, but thats another story. Cinderella man starring Russel Crowe and Rene Zellewegererererererer is based on a true story of Jim Braddock a boxer who started out his career as a promising new talent, after suffering injuries his career skydived and then there was the great depression. This is the story of how he managed to get his life in and out the ring back on track. I hadn't heard of Braddock before I heard of this movie and I didn't look into him much before watching it so as not to spoil anything. Watching the fight at the end was fantastic, it had my heart pounding. The whole film was good, a few people may not like it because it's a long film, not far off two and a half hours. Me, I loved it, I like long films if the acting and story is good enough, this certainly was.

I like long films also, as long as it's a quality film. Glad to hear you liked it, but I'm not a fan of Crowe or boxing(I know you are ;)), so I'll probably rent it. As for Rene Zellewegererererererer, I can barely stand her. :D
 
Rene's not such a good actress, but yeah I like Crowe.
