With only 267 units produced between 1969 and 1971 and supplied only to loyal Citroën fans for testing and reviews rather than being sold, the M35 is one of the rarest city cars of all time. This is compounded by the fact that Citroën recalled most of the M35's to scrap rather than maintaining a costly servicing programme for the rotary power unit.

Said power unit is a 49 bhp 995cc single rotor built by Comotor that is longitudinally mounted and drives the front wheels. The M35's suspension is hydro-pneumatic and its performance has been compared to that of the Morris 1300.

Although it lacked reliability and wasn't particularly fast, a new rotary engined vehicle on GT can't be a bad thing...

...This is a Citroen?? It looks scary enough to give me nightmares for a while. But a Wankel-motored rarity (or should that be an Oddity?) is always welcome in my book.
