Clean races not being counted?

Yesterday I logged on and had 2 clean races. After some racing, I got another four clean races (stated by the clean race bonus at the end of the race). I went to see my achievement bonus progress and there is still only 2 clean races. Logged in today again thinking that maybe it's something that takes a while to be counted, still the same 2 clean races. Is it a bug, is a clean race different than the clean race bonus you get at the end of the race or is there something else I am not getting?

They're consecutive races.

Turns out you actually have to complete 15 consecutive clean races in sports mode to get the last stage. It doesn't simply increase every time you have two or more consecutive clean races, it's a joke.

If you're attempting this achievement, make sure you don't do anything that will give you a time penalty, such as hitting a wall or going off-track, because that will make the race count as dirty!

Easiest way is to do the daily race on Blue Moon Bay. Track is easy to drive, the race doesn't take long and the car is very controllable. Simply let the rest of the field do their race and follow them from a safe distance.

Going off-track without getting a time penalty is also enough to make the race un-clean.
