Try reading up on the AMG Speedshift, or even the next part. You shift with paddles.

It still has a torque converter, so it's technically still an auto. The paddles just let you swap gears. It's *not* like BMW's SMG or Ferrari's F1. It's like Porsche's Tiptronic and Pontiac's paddle-thingy (forgot the name).

IMO, torque converter = slushbox. Always has, always will.

I actually would take any car that was offered to, even the most beaten up cars for the fun of it. But if I was given the choice of this car, or another of the same value.. I'd probably go for the other. I don't like the idea of a convertible car with a air fin in the back. Looks queer. What's the value of it?

Theres a reason to that.

Just so you guys questioning the wing know this is a RWD car that is capable of going well over 100mph. That wing is functional. This isn't a Chevy Cobalt or Honda Civic where the wing is totally useless.

Also Mercedes speedshift shifts quicker then anyone can with a true manual so it's ok with me. It's too bad people can't embrace new technology.

If any of you haters get one of these as a present and don't want it, I will gladly take it off your hands. :)
