How would I go about improving turn in under breaking without jepoardising the stability upon exit? I did a search and there was nothing too useful, I read the stickies at the top too, still wasnt sure.

This may be related to brake application. I've noticed that in GT4, hitting the brakes really quickly has been causing me severe understeer. Slowly applying the brakes while turning in (using say....50% ) at the same time as easing in the steering has resulted in much better braking while turning in.

GT3 forgave alot more snap steering and snap brake/accel than GT4 does.

Agreed, but in many cases you can tune this out, and there seem to be a few cars that don't do it at all, such as the Opel Astra Touring Car, which seems to behave exactly as it did in GT3.

Concerning the CLK-GTR: I think we may eventually have to give up on this car. It looks like it may simply be uncompetitive in its class. I've been comparing prototypes on Tokyo R246, and so far the CLK-GTR looks hopeless. Using stock suspension settings I've managed to get the '04 Pescarolo and the Peugeot 905 to turn laps under 1:22. I don't see how I will ever get the CLK-GTR to get under 1:27 or so.
