slzk was selected as the Judge's Choice winner last week, and he decided that this week ought to be a Manipulation Week.

slzk also scored a win in the public vote, and the theme he has selected is Make Your Dreams Come True!

Further explanation of theme, which is chosen by Week 43 Winner, slzk:

Edit your favourite car that isn't in GT5 into GT5, make your GT5 dreams come true! The car MUST not be from GT5.
Any photomode location is possible.
Photo travel is also possible.

And remember... be creative and have fun!

  • Photoshop or another image editing program MUST be used.
  • Each entry must have some part from a Photomode picture from Gran Turismo 5.
  • One entry per user. It must be your own work, and never previously used in a comp.
  • It is recommended you host your image on ImageShack, Photobucket, or Flickr.
  • Not sure how to post a thumbnail or preview image? Read this sticky!
  • Mark your FINAL ENTRY clearly, with red text.
  • When submitting, use either a thumbnail or a preview image, linked to the full-sizer.
  • No full-size images posted in thread; your entry will be ignored.
  • A preview image is not only allowed, but encouraged! However, preview images can
not exceed 500 pixels in either direction. This includes borders or drop shadow effects.
  • Winner of the public vote gets to choose the theme for the following week.
  • Public vote winners also get to select the top 12 entries for the poll the following week.
  • When selecting the top 12 entries the following week, the theme chooser will also select a
"Judge's Choice" winner, the entry which they feel has best captured the theme.
  • The Judge's Choice winner gets to choose whether the following week will be either a
Graphics Week or a Manipulation Week.
  • A graphics week will be primarily graphic design and layout based, for example magazine
    covers, or movie posters.
  • A manipulation week will be primarily based on photo manipulation, for example creating
race cars in game, or making multi-car composites.
  • Winners cannot enter in their own theme!

Being a Photoshop competition, there are no limits on editing. Use every tool at your disposal to
create the desired effect. Feel free to utilise HDR techniques, photo stitching, whatever you like!
Your only real restriction is that you must use some part of a GT5 Photomode image!
The main thing to remember is to be creative and have fun!

How to interprete this rule?
• One entry per user. It must be your own work, and never previously used in a comp.

It's not quite clear whether the photo I want use has to be taken by myself…

The GT5 photo is yours. The camera position and such. It means that you didn't steal any other GT5 Photoshopped works. :)

The photo has to be whole-ly done and created by you. So yes, you have to take the photos yourself.

Good luck everyone! I do expect Porsches to pop up here and there, maybe a 250 Testarossa too. :)

Nice entry, Ferrari_458!

Here's my first Photoshop Competition...
FINAL ENTRY
Bugatti Veyron SS

Anything from GT5 should be taken by you - however if you're wanting to photoshop in real cars from a photograph you've found online, for example, that is fine. The rule is basically meant to make sure it's your own work.

Final Entry

Mexico by NT1138, on Flickr

Perhaps not an obvious choice, or the best execution but it's an entry :guilty:

Nice entry, Miklad! 👍

And to nt1138, maybe you should add shadows below your Escort. :)

I am currently away from my photoshop computer until tomorrow, so i have made a placeholder in paint. This is not going to be my final final entry, but i dont want someone else to take my car choice lol.

FINAL ENTRY for now...

Click to big... (or dont... lol)

PLEASE NOTE THIS WAS MADE IN PAINT! PLEASE DONT GO HATIN TILL YOU'VE TRIED TO DO THIS IN PAINT lol. :dopey:

if you found it easy, post proof and i shall hang my head in shame!👍

Welp, this can't compete against Miklads, but It's probably a 3rd placer.
This ain't no 458 LM, Aston Martin, or a Veyron SS, but it's special to me, It's my own, 1962 GMC 1000 Series Stepside, nicknamed AJ. He's rough now yeah, but I have plans, and he's getting worked on, and he's mine.
Fullsize really makes a difference.
Final Entry
"Someday"

Okay yeah... it was pretty big, I resized it to 2063x1000

Crap! :guilty:

I suck with PS. No idea how to implement a car in a GT5 picture. Anyone got some good tutorials on youtube? I haven't found a helpful one....

Bassically what I did was took the exif from the truck picture, matched the focal length and aperture, then went on GT5 and shot a picture, Focal and apeture set to what the real picture was, and tried to mimic the same angle.

@Gtuned:

Your fullsize image is too big!
3,840 pixel is simply tooo large for my screen.
However, I like the idea and execution!
Big thing indeed!!!

@Gtuned: thanks! :) But it sounds way easier than it is. At least for me.
I rarely work with PS, so I have no idea what I'm doing there....

I post my try anyway.:P
Maybe I find the key to the PS secrets before the deadline ends. :D

Final Entry

I'm such a PS noob:scared::lol:
I know that there are plenty of things that look weird in this shot, but at least we have a Porsche in this competition now. :sly:
