Competition News:

GTP's new update brought with it some new polling options. For the time being, I am going to be sticking to the one-vote system, and the ability to change your vote is not going to available. People can still see who you voted for... provided they've voted. That's right, you can't view the poll results until you've cast your own!

These are by no means final decisions, so as ever, share your thoughts.

This was one of my first "suggestions" concerning poll's system. Not being able to see the results before voting is a great improvment (maybe the best possible).

Thanks Kyle

Subtle change, drastic result! After only half a day this poll is so evenly widespread it's unbelievable. As a "playing field" leveler, competition now is a more succinct term. I've said it before but the way these competitions and forums constantly evolve drives participation and interest. Agree with the others here who favour this change, can't wait to see how it impacts the anonymous comps, Santa and oh, the tournament?

kudos Kyle 👍

Agreed. Some previous polls have been game-set-match almost from the starting block. Hopefully this will make for more exciting polls (like this one is shaping up to be) in the future. :)

I think changing your vote should be like editing a post, how it doesn't say you edited unless 5 minutes or more has passed. I would just set like 1 minute or something, for people who miss-click and select the wrong box, just because I know I did that once. That said I think its more important that people don't jump on the band wagon.

This poll is evenly spread because there are several good entries in a theme that allowed for diferent aproaches. I don't think this result is 100% related to the change in the vote system. Maybe it hepled it to be more "authentic" but I speak for me (and I know there are people like me) when I say I've always voted without seing the results. I only did that when I didn't vote (because the poll was already closed or because I didn't see an entry as good enough).
