"This week it's as simple as the title suggests. Simply pick either a machine or man(or woman, your choice) and give us a beautiful photo of them. As far as the 'Man' side this could be the driver or someone from the scenery. Just make sure if you pick the machine side that there is only the 'Machine' featured and not a human in sight and the opposite goes for the 'Man' side. Be creative and have fun!"

UNIQUE RESTRICTIONS: Make sure only the side you choose is visible in the photo. So no crowds/people in the background of a machine shot and no machines/cars in the people side.

Well I would't say there was anything particularly wrong with your shot. I think overall it feels a bit dull to me. The isolation of the car on a stark road gray and the car white being so bright it makes the whole piece feel a bit flat and harsh.

It's not bad shot by any means, but it just didn't grab me as much as some if the others. Plus it's worth mentioning there were loads more entries on the 'Machine' side if the comp so that made it tough and in the end even shots I thought were worthy of poll placement didn't make it. It all came down what appealed to me just that bit more.

Hmm, well a tough one to critique really. It's not a poor shot really. I very much liked the dof the composition is decent. I think the harshness of the lighter blue off the dark background with that selective colour treatment maeks the image lose some depth and feel. Seemed a bit stark in a crude way to me. Really thats all. Hope that makes sense.

You came very close to making poll, I loved the car and the styling of it. Plus the toning was nice and realistic, the only minor let down was I felt the compositon felt a bit dull. Sorry.

Now your was also a tough one to cut. It's a nice shot and the colour is awesome. It was mainly some minor things that made me put others in. The anlge is nice but I felt the framing was a bit too tight mainly on the bottom. And lastly the exposure is a touch high which has made the white highlights a bit too harsh.
