"This week GP wants to see you capture the shape of the road, as roads
can be a fascinating photography subject in themselves. He wouldn't mind
seeing cars on them, of course! Take advantage of foreground and background
elements to create a "deeper" photo. Some obvious locations would be Nurburgring,
Mt. Aso, Toscana Tarmac, etc. But feel free to go to any circuit."

PHOTOTRAVEL: Yes
UNIQUE RESTRICTIONS: A focus on the road as art, obviously!

As it is with these kind of competitions, it's quite subjective. The reason it didn't make it is that there is too much black taking up the frame. Had the camera been tilted down somewhat (and captured more of the road) I may have considered it. I didn't like it as much as the other entries.
