This was an awesome competition this week, fantastic pictures all round, and two unbelievably good shots in the head to head. Well done everyone, we're all winners in my book.

easy choice. the mitsu pic was by far the better shot. I think the subaru won because it's flying =/

edit: or maybe there are just way too many subaru fanbois posting?

I too voted for Rev's Evo but Sejtur's Shot is brilliant as well in all fairness .

They were both excellent photos. I voted for the Subaru simply because it has some amazing colours and a perfect composition. The cloud of dust is just showing at the back, and the car is frozen in time mid jump capturing the action nicely.

Rev's shot was brilliant, but too dark and minimal for my liking. It seems he was going for the moody look but IMO it would have been better to focus on the front lights for this instead of shooting from above. That said, it is an excellent photo and a worthy winner for the Mitsubishi side.

It's nothing to do with 'fanbois'. That's not even a real word

Moglet: What does "perfect composition" mean to you?

You can't define it except for saying that the lines lead your eye across the image well, the rule of thirds applies perfectly and there's a good sense of speed and action without including much movement.

A bad composition, for example, would have been to place the car center frame with a 3:2 ratio photo.
