  • Do not vote for your own entry.
  • Have confidence in your photo; don't try to sway the poll.
  • Poll is up until the week's Friday.
  • In the event of a tie, a 24 hour poll is created to end Saturday.
  • In the event of a second tie, judge's vote is deciding factor.
  • Don't forget to vote in both polls during H2H weeks!
  • Winners have 48 hours to get their new theme to the host.
  • If the winner can't provide it in time, the runner-up gets to choose.

Oh my... such good entries this week, this is going to be a tight one I think!

Can someone please tell me why I can't get my pics to any photo competition?

Because your preview was larger than 500px on its longest side.
Its a right hasstle for someone else to do it if you don't, and its in the rules that if you don't, then you won't be in the poll.

👍

Okey thanks very much!

i voted for the second one... well i thought i had a good looking pic this week but there isn't in the top 20... nevermind hope to be in the next poll!

Agggh, it's too hard!! I've been in here three times today already, and I still can't decide which one is my favourite! I have to say without bias, that there is a higher number of potential winners in the Subaru side than for the Mitsubishi team, and I'm going to predict that the final winner comes from this side.

Oh well, I've finally gone for the one which I think is the better technical picture, and has had the most work put into it though I know I will change my mind a hundred times before the poll is finished!

First time I've made it into the advanced competition and oh boy such great pictures this week:)

It came down to the 2nd picture (which initially I figured would have my vote for sure) and then I scrolled down to the bottom and Sejtur's made my jaw drop. I had to open them both up fullsize and study them before finally coming to a decision. The only thing I didn't like about Sejtur's was that the wheels were still and it seems unlikely that taking a shot at dusk with that exposure would allow you to freeze the wheels, but in the end it worked well with the picture and the composition was so amazing I had to vote for it. Love how the car is in the air, and yet you can see the dust trail behind it and the shadow in the same shot. Spectacular.

This Week's Prize:
TVR&Ferrari_Fan is this week's sponsor! He's offering a car to the final winner in the H2H battle, so the car up for grabs is as much a surprise to me as it will be to whomever wins. Enjoy folks!

Lovely shots all round. two stood out for me i just whish I could vote again.

I just want to let everyone know, that SlipZtrEm has got my message mixed up with the wrong week.

Moving On

I want to thank anyone, who voted for me.

Thanks for the votes! I wouldn't have thought to get this much! Looks like I'm pitted against Rev...:nervous:

JTS: Thanks man! I held the wheels still because it was possible, and I wanted the spokes to be visible in a picture where the car is pretty far removed from the camera. I also took one with a lower shutter speed, and the wheels were turning a bit, but for this one I really wanted to illustrate a kind of slow-motion moment that everything freezes and moves slowly. I think I got the inspiration from the slowmo cams used in F1 last year, where you could freeze a frame and see no motion at all. Obviously in a picture it can't move slowly so I solved it this way.

Suprised with the voting outcomes actually.

There are some shots that deserve more than they got and visa versa.
