it looks absolutely INTENSE! "

:( awww, didn't made it!

Some feedback Lacoster? Maybe not intense enough?

Slipz got my vote btw, love the sense of speed and action in it. It also has good contrasts and colors compared to some others...👍

And I fail once again... But congrats to those who made it to the poll! :) And Slipz gets my vote ;)

Ah I thought I had a good shout at making the poll, although its full of great entries. Any criticism of my entry:

Only one vote so far:(

Also, IMO bmxmitch and FishyJuice shoulda made the poll.

Nice, I made the poll. I voted for the pic with the 458 in it great colours and very clean. Thanks for the vote ccshaft 👍

In my view, your entry should of made it into the poll.

Nice pictures for a nice theme!

Please give your comments about my picture. I want to learn:

Your welcome mate 👍 torn between yours and steviiee's but your interpretation seems spot on.
Love the 'Blood Brothers' rpanico 👍. prob where my vote would've gone.

Bad week for me missing the polls :indiff: but some excellent shots up there indeed.

Probably a mistake to go with 'standards' but I like to risk it sometimes :sly:

I have a soft spot for standards, so I like the picture very much:)

👍 Thanks ThaSyn, much appreciated.

From what I can see from your entry that may have let you down is that 'Banding' going on in dust reflected in the rear lights.... and being a 2.0 it could have been possible to clean it up. My humble opinion but maybe Lacoster had other reason(s).

Well, I was going to point out that this week, we actually see 16 poll entries (LACOSTER sent an extra, and instead of further delaying the poll, I figured I'd just extend it), but we're now at 14, on account of two disqualifications for people voting for their own entries.

I'm also seeing some halo-ing around cars in some shots, so I should remind people HDR shots aren't allowed...

(EDIT) Sam48, Clunthoo, GT_johan, and julioangulo86, feel free to re-cast your votes.

'Halo-ing' around cars doesn't mean it is HDR. There is an effect in Photoshop called 'high pass' which depending on the strength creates halos. If used properly it enhances details without being obnoxious.

It is a good picture no doubt about that, but pictures I selected for the poll were pictures that really looked like "movie" scenes. So cars that are really close together and really have that sense of speed (same goes for Fishyjuice)
@rpanico14, your shot was also very good, but I wasn't a fan of the "blood brothers" under your picture. I was also looking at pictures that literally look like they have come out of a movie. Like you take a screen shot of a chase scene from a movie.
Oops 16 entries, sorry about that :ouch:
Anyways a lot of people had really good entries and choosing just 15 was definitely difficult. And sorry about the poll being late everyone :ouch:

hmm, now I'm a bit confused. I tried to keep it close to the theme "The chase" and I thought I had it right with my pic, because for me it actually looked like a real chase. Not as close together or action packed like some others, but like it was writen in the description.
Anyways, thanks for your clarification LACOSTER! I just have to get my mojo back in the next weeks (think my girl stole it:scared:)

Thanks for the feedback, I was in two minds whether or not to include the title. Just to explain the link, the two cars effectively share the same engine (along with the F430) and have a lot of other similarities.

Well that's not strictly in the rules now either, though :P. Halo'ing usually indicates HDR, though. You'll have to recast your vote too, Ben; WeShallNverStop and ighopper's images have been DQ'd.

Doesn't make hi-pass any more illegal either, you can do the same thing Adobe Lightroom.
