Didn't make it but no complaints... that kart/shadow shot does it for me

..................A very poignant image due to recent events.

That kart with the shadow is a great idea actually, but the cold filter destroys the picture in my opinion. Even if the filter gives it a beautiful darkness, these blue tones are very annoying.

Dorfm3ister's Nascar is very good, but the shot I chose in the end is the white driver with his white X1. The atmosphere in that shot is awesome, plus, car and driver match very nice.

Well its 'horses for courses' I suppose, but in my humble opinion the blue tone (cool filter) of the Kart image conveys a sombre feeling that sets the overall mood of the picture for me..... even a black n white version would have lost something I reckon so its spot on for me .

Not undermining what you've said in any way, its just my 2cents I could've voted for 4 or 5 easily.

I'm so unlucky to be right over zambucas picture. His helmet blew mine out of this comp like nothing. 👍
But there are also a few outstanding images in here again!!! We should really consider of adding a Top 3 to the combs. With Gold, silver and bronze medals!

I really like your approach to the theme and it's the only photo with a social aspect.

At first I made a typical driver+car situation, but was inspired to change it to a "helmet shot"...with a more personal feeling. I'm very happy that it's been a succes so far - but there's still a long way to go

And I love how you made it look so real. Even though the suits look pretty bad when zoomed in on them. But it doesn't hurt on your pic. Very well done!
