Further explanation of the theme:

Welcome to Summer Special Week! Or rather two weeks. This competition will run for two weeks,
it has two themes and two judges: last week's finalists bmxmitch and 725. You can enter
two final entries, one for each theme. There will be poll for each theme and a final poll for winners,
if you do very well you could be fighting yourself in the final!

I asked both judges to to give us the coolest car/track combo they could think of and got two
very different ideas (just perfect for this week). Here is what they said:

bmxmitch: "I know it isn't the coolest car, but it helps the earth to stay cool.
To help the earth and us, I want you to take the Tesla on Mt.Aso. I'm not sure how
it feels in other countries, but here in Germany the summer gets crazier year over year.
Rainy, cold and then for a few weeks extremely hot. Its really time to do something for our
environment. So get your 600hp Lambo back in your garage and take the Tesla to a
nice summer trip!"

725: "Due to the recent release of Transformers, I remembered how cool american
muscle cars used to be, show me the best picture you can get with
undoubtedly one of the coolest cars on the most striking track theme in GT5."


Theme 1 by bmxmitch: Tesla Roadster '08 at Mt. Aso
Theme 2 by 725: Chevrolet Camaro Z28 '69 (premium) at Toscana tarmac


So there it is. Do both themes and have fun! (Note: in theme 2 you can use any time of day
on the track, RM version of the car not allowed.)

Hey Mynock005. I'm happy to give my opinion. Kudos for the shot it was different to all the other entries which I quite liked. Unfortunately I thought overall it was a little too blurry and perhaps if there were more of the car and less of the fireworks. I can see what you were trying to do, but with pictures like that you can only show so much of the car. When it came down to it I thought the other entries were just a bit more to my taste.

Soloracer I liked the lighting of the picture but I didn't like the warped distortion you get when you zoom out a lot (assuming that is what you did). I felt the front of the car was too distorted. I quite like the way on Toscana (tarmac) you can get the long shadows and thought maybe you could have caught more of it in your picture. Overall its not a bad pic but again like Myknocks I thought some of the other entries caught my eye more.

I hope you guys don't mind the criticism it is just my opinion. If anyone else would like feedback I'm happy to help

Thanks for the feedback I really appreciate it. Ahh it was a slow shutter speed trying to capture the speed of the drift, I had some just like you said as well. I tried not to get the front of the car top much as I'd crashed it earlier in the lap and it was all buckled thanks though 👍

Hey ashes I really like the composition and lighting of the picture and it was very close to getting into the poll. I just didn't like the pixelation/banding effect on the sky and overall would have maybe preferred to have the car a bit closer so the majority of the image wasn't black. It was a very good picture and I think you have been producing some great entries recently 👍
