This week's theme as brought to you by ffjjbb:

“The other day at school, I saw a fairly old man picking up his grandson from school in a Mercedes SLR. Everyone stopped to take pictures of this beautiful car. I'm going to need you do the same thing. This weeks theme is to take the SLR McLaren and park it up somewhere classy and make it feel as if some old rich man owns it. :)"

Thanks guys - and huge thanks to all who voted. I had no idea about this one until my flickr went a bit crazy. I wasn't even sure the paint choice was right, and London can be so tricky under PMC rules - way too much glare!

:bowdown::cheers:

OMFG!!! You are a beast!!! Congrats!

Gonna have to start drawing mustaches on your shots, so we have a chance of defeating you Warrior-King.:)

One day, I shall try the non-edits...No skills.:(

Thanks Gary:cheers:
But I do disagree - you have the skills! Non-edits are more enjoyable for me.....but you need to dig deep to unearth the right shot!! Time of day, EV, weather, paint chip, reflections, use of filters, use of filters with EV, track, sun glare, banding, aspect ratio, shutter speed, location of the GT logo.
(And sad no-mates that I am, these take the longest as I usually have 15 to 20 outtakes of my entries in all of the different filters/ratios/shutter speeds, plus the other 80-100 shots!!! Must get a life, eh!!:dunce: But it is therapy for me!!!:dopey:)

Eric, I agree with the therapeutic part. Of all the recreational activities I enjoy, this brings a certain inner peace. Like knitting a sweater.

Now , you have given me a blueprint to try this, I never knew that much went into the basic shot. I just shoot, & edit my way out.

Thanks for the Intel!!! And Congrats!!!:gtpflag:

From so many aspects this is the finest pmc capture I've witnessed and now seriously ponder my retirement.

so, so, so well done!!! :bowdown: :eek:

G - confess to us all that you are a robot!

:cheers:
