hatch's around the Monaco GP circuit and so because I have a bit of a soft spot for the little
Fiat have decided to go with Mr Hammond's ride for this one. Feel free to go with any
colour/rims/modifications you like and note that more than one car -the same model- in shot
are allowed."

Er, is it just me or is there no watermark on the third from the bottom?

It would appear so, the only explanation other than an edited picture is that the shot was taken at 90` and rotated back leaving the watermark in the overexposed area top left. But that's a long shot imo.

Looks pretty edited to me IMO, even the 1st time I saw the picture. But, who knows that's just me, not trying to call him out or anything.. The GT5 filters wont do anything like that either.. Maybe he cropped the picture to cut off the watermark. But, when you resize the picture to 1920 it comes out as 1920x1080 16:9 ratio.

Almost certainly true, however I'd be very surprised if this wasn't just an honest mistake - with the comp alternating between PMC & 2.0 rules occasionally someone will get it mixed up. Still rules are rules and a DQ should incur.

to me TBH. I really struggled and sweated to my decision(s) on leaving certain entries out of the final poll and it never occurred to me to check the watermark on any of the pics. I was engrossed in picking the shots I liked
If this turns out to be the case I feel sad to have left anyones 'legit' entry out at the expense of this mistake. Although I'm not 100% sure its an edit until its confirmed one way or the other, I guess it could be proportionally cropped but its doubtful.

Sorry guys but I entered an edited pic without realizing it wasn't allowed. My first time reading the rules and entering was last week and had no idea about alternate weeks. Any time I remember voting or looking in the CCCL threads contained edited pics.

Please disqualify me and I'm sorry to those that have voted. I had no intention to deceive anyone. I'm surprised it wasn't noticed earlier when I posted it originally or in the deciding.

I wish someone picked up on it in the actual thread.

These photos should really be looked at more closely. There are many more entries that had a chance to make it in this poll, entries that were done fairly.

Both are tunnel shots, that can do strange things for contrast and saturation. Also some software do sharpen the image when resizing (often not a good thing as the images of GT5 are usually sharp enough as they are). So I would not say these must necessarily be modified.

No disrespect but I have no doubt about the legitimacy of the shots you have pointed out, both are tunnel shots and very easy to sharpen with a high f number 32-45 and the red fiat is inside the tunnel against the bright light outside which gives an over contrast effect. These results you see are achievable in photomode but with that in mind you also have to take a lot on trust which is valued highly on the comp forum.
I have seen many images I could have challenged only to find I could replicate the results without editing.

If you've taken a lot of tunnel pictures before, you do know that the outcome of the pictures have a slight yellow hue/filter throughout the whole photo. Therefore without editing, it's not possible to have such a clear picture. The hue can be removed by fixing your shadow/contrast lighting.
