Further explanation of the theme, as given by zambuca:

"The circuit of Madrid has a lot of interesting details to be discovered. Take the Lexus IS F '07 and
show us some mad driving in the city. (Well, it doesn't necessarily have to be driving - a nicely
posing Lexus in the streets would also be acceptable)"

CAR: Lexus IS F ’07
LOCATION: Circuito De Madrid (not the Mini version)

Any criticism?

Sure! I really like the way the car is posing, and it shows how nice the rendering of this car is, but somehow the surroundings are a little too vague. A little more of the arch in the background and it might have been "there". If you know what I mean...

My vote went to the second entry; while a cool effect, TVR's shot doesn't in any way portray Madrid to me, even if it is indeed shot there (and it is). Personally, I always like to see CCCL shots focus on both sides of the theme.

That said, TVR will probably win this :P

Thanks for the votes.

Thanks for that great pic!

@Slipz: As much as I would like to agree with you, I simply can't because I won the last CCCL week with a similar pic to TVR's!:P Mine didn't show much of the track and car too, but was (maybe) more unique than some others.

so what for do we have the rules and the judge if "they" dont follow them :P

next cccl maybe we don´t need any rules :D

I agree that TVR's pic is on the edge - but as far as I recall there's no other track with a fountain ;)

Like FishyJuice, any criticism for my shot?

Sure! First, I would like to say that I really like the way the cars "back part" shows with the high contrast. That said, I feel that the rest of the photo is simply too dark without much effect; e.g. track details, feeling of speed and such.

The way I understood the CCCL week, was to show your creativity by creating something unique with limited options and not to "just" display the certain track and car. Individuality and creativity like TVR showed with his entry are making these comps even more interesting and fun.

I kinda agree with SlipZtrEm TVR's shot is nice, but if someone that didn't know the rules for this weeks comp saw that shot, they might not be able to guess where it was taken.

That is why, I posted some proof up.

Oh, I agree, creativity is something important, absolutely 👍. I guess I just have always personally placed some importance on highlighting the L of the competition name. That's the great thing though - we all have our own interpretations :)

Poll closed and the winner is...

TVR&Ferrari_Fan. Congratulations TVR&FF! :)

I did kinda see that coming... Just slightly... :P
Grats Jamie, looking forward to your theme.

Anyone planning to have their hair done next week, will get a nice surpise. But only if you are going fast.

XJ13? Caterham fireplace? A few of the LMP Cars (audi's and Pescaralo etc) I'm not sure how many open top cars there actually are

Can't see it being the California as that was used quite recently......Shelby Cobra possibly? :) or the Tank car (heaven forbid lol).

OK what else... S2000, F1 2007 and 2010, Miata, That Peugeot 307CC, Art Morrison, Z4, '69 Stingray, SL55 and the Kubel and Schwimmwagons. I think thats the premiums there.
