CLOSED Poll: Photomode/Photoshop Competition - Week 37 (PLEASE RECAST)

Talyn was selected as the Judge's Choice winner last week, and he decided that this week ought to be a Graphics Week.

Talyn also took out the public vote, and the theme he has selected is Top Gear Magazine Cover!

Further explanation of theme, which is chosen by Week 35 Winner, Talyn:

As the photographer/designer you have complete freedom to tackle this challenge as you see fit. Contestants could photo manipulate the cast of Top Gear into a GT5 scene or vice-versa. The cover could simply include an awesome photo from GT5 with the magazine title. The choice is yours!

And remember... be creative and have fun!

• Photoshop or another image editing program MUST be used.
• Each entry must have some part from a Photomode picture from Gran Turismo 5.
• One entry per user. It must be your own work, and never previously used in a comp.
• It is recommended you host your image on ImageShack, Photobucket, or Flickr.
• Not sure how to post a thumbnail or preview image? Read this sticky!
• Mark your FINAL ENTRY clearly, with red text.
• When submitting, use either a thumbnail or a preview image, linked to the full-sizer.
• No full-size images posted in thread; your entry will be ignored.
• A preview image is not only allowed, but encouraged! However, preview images can
  not exceed 500 pixels in either direction. This includes borders or drop shadow effects.
• Winner of the public vote gets to choose the theme for the following week.
• Public vote winners also get to select the top 12 entries for the poll the following week.
• When selecting the top 12 entries the following week, the theme chooser will also select a
  "Judge's Choice" winner, the entry which they feel has best captured the theme.
• The Judge's Choice winner gets to choose whether the following week will be either a
  Graphics Week or a Manipulation Week.
• A graphics week will be primarily graphic design and layout based, for example magazine
  covers, or movie posters.
• A manipulation week will be primarily based on photo manipulation, for example creating
  race cars in game, or making multi-car composites.
• Winners cannot enter in their own theme!

Being a Photoshop competition, there are no limits on editing. Use every tool at your disposal to
create the desired effect. Feel free to utilise HDR techniques, photo stitching, whatever you like!
Your only real restriction is that you must use some part of a GT5 Photomode image!
The main thing to remember is to be creative and have fun!

Er, I was just about to do this myself!

Do excuse my lateness, it's the last full on week of the university year for me and I've had a huge stack of assignments taking up my time. Thanks for putting the poll up, although if there's a next time I'd appreciate a heads up first!

A mod will need to edit the poll and pop in a preview image of that oversize entry there, you might have muddled the links on that one. If a mod would be so kind as to edit the poll length to 4 days instead of 7 days, that would also be appreciated!

Hi. That is my entry. The background picture featuring the Stig is taken outside the Red Bull hangar, in GT's Photo Travel mode. Also, the Alfa Romeo Brera at the top right corner is also from Gran Turismo. The only picture not from the game is the bottom left corner SLS which is actually the same SLS picture that features as GT5's game case art. No cheating here, lol...

I may be doing a very stupid and incredibly rude thing here, but have we got another ronsmaps on our hands here?

We have 3 people who all registered today and have the same-ish kind of semi-lousy grammar and punctuation which have voted for Vintage_Green aka Erndog2k. All three were logged in about the same times today...

I'm really sorry. I apologize to Erndog prematurely for any insinuation and the idiotic behavior I'm displaying right now. It's just that I can't help but get a bit suspicious when there of a sudden are three new votes for one entry by sub-10 posts members registered on the same day.

Please forgive me if this is completely untrue and just pure nonsense. I wouldn't enjoy having accusations against me, but I've tried to be as neutral as possible.
