"I would like to see Alfas in all their glory! The catch is using the monochrome filters. "

Cars: Alfa Romeo, can be multiple cars as long as the Alfa is prominent.
Locations: Any.
Phototravel: Yes.
Unique Restrictions: Must be an Alfa and in B&W.

Almost certainly now that I look at it again - that GT logo is way too bright.
I was so busy trying to get a fullsize image for it that I completely overlooked that - it will have to be disqualified.

its my entry & I can assure you any editing done to that photo is within the stated rules I agree its a ****** picture but cheat I will not wonder why you see so many with the water mark removed!?

Take a closer look at the other entries and spot out the GT watermark, they are there definitely.

Sorry DITCHLINE but for a PMC edit week there is no editing allowed.

• [*]No other editing, besides proportionally resize and rotate, is allowed outside GT5 Photomode.

Now I considered that maybe you had used the extreme monochrome filter and that may have made the GT logo brighter - but I tried it out and although it appeared slightly brighter than with the monochrome filter it was nothing like as extreme as in your entry.
Another thing is that you didn't provide a fullsize image to be able to link to (couldn't find one on your Photobucket account, just the preview size) - and I almost didn't include yours because of that and is something I will do in future - if there is no fullsize image for an entry it will be disqualified and not make the poll.

Unfortunately geatle it is in the rules for Secret Santa not to disclose the identity of any entries. As it is the whole basis of the competition for the entries to be anonymous I must enforce the rule or the competition becomes pointless. A step learning curve for you sorry but it really does pay to familiarize yourself with the rules for each comp.
For future reference for anyone with questions regarding entries in the poll I would suggest that you send me (the host) or the judge a PM instead of posting in the thread - I will add something to that effect into the rules.

As to your entry - I thought it was a very solid effort and was one of several that I was torn between for my vote. Don't be too discouraged by a lack of votes as it doesn't necessarily mean that it wasn't good.

Thats cool Nato I was under the impression it was 2.0 rules you were right I did use the extreme monochrome filter on the game but the only edit to the picture was what was provided in the photobucket menu(brightened) when I resized & replaced the original wth the photo If I broke the rules then disqualify me, no problem there, I do agree with Geatle with his whole ordeal but thats not my affair I have met some good people on this site but on the flip side of the coin i have met some truly anal people those people whose feathers get ruffled when you dont word a post or pm just nice enough to suit them basically wanting you to kiss there ass the marketplace is the worst for that,then there those who are winnng photo comps and wanna call some bodys hand for a rule infraction but thats the wonderful world we live in. I appreciate the time the judges,moderators etc. put into this whole deal these photo comps are my only motivation to play the game any more but intetionally cheat no I dont wanna win that way Hey at least the photo got noticed!!!!!

DITCHLINE, geatle and many of you guys trying so hard, word of advice, don't let the lack of votes dishearten you.
I've been trying for months myself, and have only won two competitions thus far. But don't go for the win, watch, observe and learn from other people's entries and try to incorporate elements into you own. If you see some of my entries when I started out, they were hideous, and I always thought I was a genius with the GT5 camera

But then participating here I really improved and learnt a lot. Agreed it's frustrating at times when you think your photograph's pretty good and you're left behind by a shot you might not find special at all, it's alright. Juts learn, be patient, and have fun while at it

Oh and also! Going through some of the tutorials here to learn more about the photomode will help alot because DITHLINE and geatle, what I noticed was that your shots could do with some "speed". THe panning modes will help with this, hence I mentioned the tutorials. And keep looking for inspirations for your shots. Keep trying to do something different!

I had planned on an evening of photo editing and tie-break poll creating but had an old friend from out of town show up and that was the end of that. Just got home again - it's almost 1 am and I can't go on the computer without waking up my wife so the tie-break poll will have to wait a few more hours cause I'm going to bed.
Looks like my chances of finishing my 3.0 entry in time are very slim now.
